Inter-Agency Task Force sign MOA against Trafficking

Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) President and CEO Alexander Cauguiran (center); Department of Justice Assistant Secretary and Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT) head Atty. Juvy Ramirez-Manwong; Regional Prosecutor Atty. Carolyn Dumlao-Amis of the DOJ-Central Luzon; Deputy City Prosecutor Atty. Percival Atinaja; Visayan Forum Foundation Inc. Executive Director Ma. Cecilia Flores-Oebanda; Angeles City Gender and Development Office head Purita David, representing Angeles City Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan; lead the signing of the memorandum of agreement (MOA) creating the Clark International Airport Task Force Against Trafficking (CIATFAT) during a simple ceremony at the Clark International Airport arrival lobby yesterday. Also signing the MOA were officers and representatives of the PNP Aviation Security Group; Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA-III); the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD); the Ing Makababaing Aksyun (IMA) Foundation; Bureau of Immigration; the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI); the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency Regional Office 3 (NICA3); and, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-3 (CIDG3). Also signed during the event was the iFight Trafficking Movement that will provide a halfway house and holistic aftercare intervention for victims of trafficking.
