TARLAC CITY — Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) opened Wednesday its 12th Negosyo Center in Tarlac located at the Municipal Hall Building, San Jose town.
“This is one of the initiatives of the government to empower micro, small, and medium enterprises and recognize their importance in contributing to the economic growth of the country,” DTI Provincial Director Agnes Ramirez said.
The facility would provide services such as business information advocacy, business name registration assistance, trainings and registration for Barangay Micro Business Enterprises.
For her part, DTI Regional Director Judith Angeles said San Jose town is one of the promising business centers in the province because of the tourist destinations, good infrastructure and access roads to introduce their products out of town and out of the province.
This is the 73rdNegosyo Center in Central Luzon and 852ndin the Philippines.
Similar facilities are located in the capital city, Concepcion, Capas, Moncada, Gerona, Victoria, San Manuel, Ramos, San Clemente and Pura. (PIA 3)
