Once again, the City Government of San Fernando commended traffic enforcers for their dedication and commitment in the public service during the Monday’s flag raising ceremony.
Mayor Edwin ‘EdSa’ Santiago together with Vice Mayor Jimmy Lazatin, City Human Resource Management Officer Rachelle Yusi and Traffic Management Division OIC PS/ Supt. Danilo Bautista led the awarding of certificate of commendation to traffic enforcers Heintgie F. Dizon, Joey D. Tolentino, Reynaldo D. Aquino, and Rico E. Sioson.
These four traffic enforcers were recognized because of their timely response and exemplary contribution in the immediate arrest and apprehension of a robbery case suspect which happened along Mc Arthur Highway, Brgy Sindalan on July 29, 2018.
Sioson was also commended because of his courageous act in the immediate arrest and apprehension of a suspect for malicious mischief in an incident at Jose Abad Santos Avenue, Brgy. Dolores on July 26, 2018.
Indeed, the City Government’s agenda ‘Kapayapaan at Kaayusan ay Makakamtan sa Nagkakaisa at Disiplinadong Mamamayan’ was achieved through the devotion and commitment of these gallant traffic enforcers.
For his part, Mayor Edwin ‘EdSa’ Santiago lauded the enforcers for their hardwork, perseverance, and determination in public service and for ensuring the safety of the Fernandinos.
He hopes that they will serve as good examples and inspiration to others to do good, for the betterment of the city.
“Isa sa mga pinaiiral natin dito sa Syudad San Fernando ang pagkakaroon ng malasakit sa kapwa, dahil naniniwala tayo na kapag ang mga mamamayan ay nagtutulungan ay siguradong uunlad at lalago ang kanilang pamayanan. Sana’y magsilbing inspirasyon ang ating mga magigiting na traffic enforcers sa ating lahat, na gumawa ng marangal sa ating kapwa,” Santiago said.
