President Rodrigo Duterte has declared September 12, Monday, a regular non-working holiday in observance of Eid’l Adha.
Eid’l Adha, or the Feast of Sacrifice, is one of the two greatest feasts of Islam.
The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos recommended September 12 as the day of Eid’l Adha celebration.
Mr. Duterte declared the holiday through Republic Act 9849 which was made public on September 5. #
