TARLAC CITY — Provincial government opened its First District Hospital in barangay San Julian, Moncada to make health services more accessible to residents in the northern part of Tarlac.
In a statement, Governor Susan Yap said enhancing public health services and providing better medical facilities to Tarlaqueños are among the priorities of her administration.
“Residents who will need medical attention will no longer need to go to the Tarlac Provincial Hospital or to a private hospital because we have here just around the corner of your town,” Yap furthered.
By virtue of Provincial Ordinance No. 11, Series of 2018, the 50 bed capacity facility has been named Enrique Henry M. Cojuangco Memorial District Hospital in honor of the late district representative who envisioned the project.
“The noble project has materialized in a bid to provide the constituencies’ quality and accessible healthcare services for better health outcomes,” Yap added.
