TARLAC CITY — The Provincial Government of Tarlac [PGT] led by Gov. Susan Yap recently spearheaded the annual medical and dental mission at Sta. Juliana, Capas town.
The PGT were joined by the Tarlac Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry [TFCCCI] and the Tarlac Filipino-Chinese Fire Brigade
The medical and dental mission in one of the remotest barangays in the province was able to benefit more than 700 individuals which consist mostly of Aetas.
TFCCCI President Lydia Co said that the medical mission is part of their annual commitment to give service to Tarlaqueños.
“This is our way of providing health care to our kababayans. I thank Governor Susan Yap for the support she is according us yearly,” Co said.
For her part, Gov. Yap likewise thanked the TFCCCI and the Filipino-Chinese Fire Brigade for their generosity and care for Tarlaqueños.
“In behalf of our Aeta brothers and sisters, I would like to thank the Filipino-Chinese Chamber led by President Lydia Co and the Filipino-Chinese Fire Brigade for their care and services to our people,” Gov. Yap said.
Also present during the medical and dental mission were Capas Mayor Reynaldo Catacutan, Tarlac city Councilor Ato Chua, Capas ABC President Seto Arcilla, TFCCCI Directors William Co, Co Ting Pian and Delmo Cutero, Fire Brigade officers Elle Lee, King Chan, Ricardo Sabado and Stephen Que, Sta. Juliana Barangay Captain Jude Lenon, Capas Pulis Chief PLt. Col. Augusto Pasamonte, Tarlac Provincial Hospital doctors and nurses and PGT employees.
