Subic Bay Freeport Zone — Arvin Antipolo emphasized unity and community participation as key drivers of local development during the “Talakayan sa Freeport” on April 29 at the Terrace Hotel.
Speaking before stakeholders and media, Antipolo said San Antonio’s progress reflects collective effort, citing gains in tourism, healthcare, and governance.
The town logged over 400,000 tourist arrivals last year, with ongoing initiatives including 24-hour business operations and expanded digital promotions. Plans are also underway to strengthen regional tourism through a proposed Mid-Zambales alliance.
Antipolo highlighted upgrades in healthcare services through PhilHealth-backed programs and pushed local products like malunggay-based “Shingaling” under the OTOP initiative.
