TARLAC CITY (PIA) — Tarlac entrepreneurs benefitted from the PhP8.8 million worth of assistance under the Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program (SETUP) of Department of Science and Technology (DOST).
DOST Provincial Director Karen Yañgo-Dañez said the beneficiaries were given equipment, machineries and other interventions designed to improve their quality and overall productivity.
“DOST Tarlac will continue to expand the implementation of SETUP in the province by reaching out to more entrepreneurs engaged in priority sectors that are supported by the program,” she furthered.
Recipients include Tarlac City-based Yambot Ice Cream, Dreamkraft Gift Shop and General Merchandise, Inkifyd Printing Services Company, Gerties Bakeshop, RDRA Printartees Enterprises, O.CTinman Tinsmith and Fremil’s Sports Uniform.
Also, Sandra’s Handicrafts of Capas and Nasayaat Marketing of Pura.
