Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. inspects malls in Angeles City on Sunday to determine their capabilities to restart the economy. With Angeles City now under the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ), Lazatin wants mall operators to observe health protocols such as wearing of face mask, social distancing and the usage of thermal gun to screen all employees and mall goers, disinfection of malls for at least five times a day and the installation of hand sanitizing stations in strategic areas of the malls. With Lazatin is Chief Adviser and Tactician Director IC Calaguas, Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, Business Permit and Licensing Division (BPLD) Chief Evangeline Malonzo and BPLD staff. The local chief executive also met with mall managers in Angeles City to iron out the guidelines set by City Government, in accordance with the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases and Department of Health. – Photos by Jomes Sugui
