The Department of Trade and Industry Bulacan Provincial Office (DTI- Bulacan) launched the otopbulacan.ph website, a digital marketing platform that aims to showcase Bulacan One Town One Product (OTOP) and increase the marketing presence of Bulacan Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through virtual launching held recently.
It will also serve as an online platform for DTI- Bulacan marketing activities.
The virtual launch was led by DTI- Bulacan Provincial Director Edna D. Dizon together with Regional Director Judith P. Angeles, 25 featured MSMEs, My Creative Panda, Provincial Administrator Antonette V. Constantino, Mayor Arthur B. Robes of San Jose Del Monte, Mayor Ferdinand V. Estrella of Baliwag, Mayor Gilbert T. Gatchalian of the City of Malolos, Business Permit and Licensing Officers, LGU representatives and other national agencies and media partners.
DTI- Bulacan collaborated with My Creative Panda, a web design and development consultancy services provider in creating the said website. Initially, the website features food and non-food products of 25 Bulacan Otopreneurs or MSMEs enrolled under the One Town One Product (OTOP) Next Generation project.
These 25 Bulacan Otopreneurs were provided with a package of assistance primarily in product development initiatives, training, referral, and others to level up their products in the areas of design, quality, and volume under the OTOP Next Gen project. The said project is one of the major components of OTOP, a priority stimulus program of the DTI for MSMEs as government customized intervention to drive local economic growth. The program is now transitioning to a convergent effort to its next phase of execution in the form of OTOP Next Gen.
“The website intends to have another platform for Bulacan MSMEs to go digital and be able to promote their products in the mainstream market.
