TARLAC CITY — Schools Division of Tarlac Province launched Project School-Home Integration of Radio and Television Based Instruction in the New Normal Education otherwise known as Aral TarlakHenyo.
It is a radio and television-based instruction educational program aired on DZTC 828 kHz and RTV Tarlac Channel 26 of Radyo Pilipino Media Network.
Tarlac Province Schools Division Superintendent Ronaldo Pozon said this is designed to provide a venue in developing the Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELCs) among grades 4, 5, 8 and 9 learners in the eight learning areas.
“Selected teacher-broadcasters in each learning area prepare 25-minute lessons supported by scripts, learning activity sheets and slide presentations based on the MELC assigned to them,” Pozon explained.
Learners all-over the province can listen and view the lessons by tuning in to DZTC 828 kHz Radyo Pilipino Tarlac.
They may also watch through television at RTV Tarlac Channel 26 or via Facebook Live from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Mondays to Fridays.
The project is in partnership with the Office of Tarlac First District Representative Charlie Cojuangco and Department of Education Regional Office 3.
