BALANGA CITY — Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) turned over Shared Service Facilities (SSF) worth PhP5.532 million to 13 qualified cooperators in Bataan.
DTI Provincial Director Nelin Cabahug said the machines were now donated to the cooperators who have managed and operated the units well for more than five years.
“We will still be here to continue monitoring and assisting the groups in order to sustain the projects especially in product development and marketing,” she added.
Qualified cooperators include Samahan ng mga Kababaihang Aytas sa Kinaragan which has a SSF on fruits and root crops processing; Gabon OFW Family Circle Assn. – SSF on breads and pastries making; Mariveles Bagmakers MPC – SSF on embroidery machine for bag makers; Capitangan Organic Fertilizers Marketing Cooperative – SSF on organic fertilizer production; Balanga Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries – SSF on vegetable based-products; and Alyansa ng Kababaihang Nagmamahal sa Abucay – SSF on candle making.
Also, KABAKA-Orani – SSF on food processing; Pilar RIC – SSF on food processing; Tanato MPC – SSF on fruit wines, cashew and peanut butter and processed coconut; Mabatang Broomakers and Vendors Association- SSF on lasa broom making; Women MPCI – SSF on candle making; Morong MPC- SSF on meat processing and People’s MPC – SSF on meat processing.
