PAMPANGA UNDER ‘STATE OF CALAMITY’

With 144,340 families affected in 232 flooded barangays in 15 Pampanga local government units, the Provincial government has declared Pampanga province under a “state of calamity.”

Tropical Cyclones “Egay” and “Falcon” both of which dumped floodwater in low-lying areas of Pampanga had destroyed agriculture estimated at P315,234,225.63.

The livelihood of some 3,770 fishermen and farmers had been affected.
