MALOLOS CITY (PIA) — A total of 64 micro enterprises in the province of Bulacan received livelihood kits from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
They are recipients of the agency’s Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG) program.
DTI OIC-Assistant Regional Director and concurrent Provincial Director Edna Dizon said recipients are from 49 barangays in the province’s seven legislative districts.
They received different livelihood kits tailored to their business needs such as eatery, bigasan, salon, bakery, sewing, barbershop, and manicure and pedicure.
“We also conducted an Entrepreneurship Development Seminar to equip beneficiaries with the essential knowledge which they can use in managing their respective businesses,” she added.
Each livelihood kit, valued at P15,000, aims to empower micro enterprises to enhance their operations and contribute to local economic growth.
PPG is a livelihood seeding and entrepreneurship development program aimed at assisting micro enterprises affected by calamities.
