Angeles mom bags TMC First Weight Loss Challenge

CLARK FREEPORT – A 30-year old mother from Hensonville, Angeles City was declared winner in the first The Medical City Weight Loss Challenge here Tuesday.

Eloisa Naguit, a plain housewife, endured the six-month challenge making her to the three top finalists. The two other contenders were Ruby Jane Co, 27; and Johanna Cabrera, 38.

Naguit weighs 141 pounds when she joined the event and ended with only 108 lbs; Co was 190 (lbs), she completed the course with 187 lbs while Cabrera (222 lbs) trimmed down to 187 lbs.

Kreng Dizon, TMC Corporate Communication, said only three made it to the finals from the original number of 14 competitors.

“The course prepared for the participants are all natural including lifestyle modification, nutrition conscious or diet and most importantly exercises,” said Doctor Sir Emmanuel Astudillo during the closing of the 1st TMC Weigh Loss Challenge.

Astudillo encouraged the winners to continue with what they have started and enjoy the healthy lifestyle.

“Do not focus on the weight you have lost but always remember the benefit of the competition to your health. Always think of the six-month journey in achieving physically fit and healthy body,” Astudillo told the winners.

Naguit took home a round trip to Boracay and other items from sponsors including Philippine Airline (PAL), Savoy Hotel and TMC.
