AWOL ​c​op, 7 others fall in Bulacan dope war

CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, Bulacan –A former policeman who is listed as a”high value target” in the all​-​out war against illegal drugs in this province was busted in this city while seven other suspects were arrested in a series of police operations in the​ ​towns of Baliwag; Bustos; Norzagaray and in the City of Meycauayan Tuesday.

In a report to Bulacan acting police director Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr., Supt. Fitz Macariola, San Jose Del Mmonte City Police chief, identified the arrested ex-cop as Former PO1 Daryl Lazaro (Listed as High Value Target (HVT), former member of Bulacan Police Provincial Public Safety Company (PPSC) who went AWOL on September 18, 2015, 33 years old, married native of Nueva Ecija, presently residing at Block 9, Lot 7, Phase H, Francisco Homes, Brgy. Guijo, CSJDM, Bulacan.

Macariola said Lazaro did not resist arrest when accosted by a police team after selling a plastic sachet of shabu to a police undercover agent.

Police recovered 11 more plastic sachets containg shabu from the former policeman turn drug dealer.

Caramat identified the other arrested suspects as Jhon Jhon Batas alias “Tuklaw”; Allan Buenaventura; Joel Dumagco; Aldrin Capisnon alias “Teteng”, 6) Richard Enano Y Nacional; Ramil Enano alias “Rodel”, Acsie Abubacar alias “Acs” and Jayson Baricua..

A total of twenty-five (25) pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected “shabu”, buy-bust money and assorted drug paraphernalia’s were recovered during the conduct of separate police operations.

The arrested suspects and recovered pieces of evidence were being brought to Bulacan Crime Laboratory Office for appropriate examination.

Caramat said that appropriate criminal complaints are now being prepared for filing in court. –Emil G. Gamos
