Balanga mayor leads Landbank ATM opening at the city public market

BALANGA CITY – First-termer City Mayor Francis Anthony S. Garcia on Tuesday led the ribbon-cutting to formally open Landbank’s newest automated teller machine (ATM) here.

Garcia was joined by Landbank – Balanga Branch Manager Nenita Lopez together with City Councilor Hubert Pizarro, DTI Representative Marissa dela Cruz, Ugnayang Balangueño representative Rolly Dizon, City Administrator Rodolfo H. de Mesa, City Government
department heads and Balanga City Public Market employees.

The ATM machine is located at the center of the market’s main entrance.

Landbank remains aggressive in expanding its branch network in order to serve more clients especially in the rural areas as part of its continuous efforts to promote greater financial inclusion.

To further its thrust towards greater financial inclusion, the Landbank of the Philippines is capitalizing on technology to bring banking services to as many Filipinos across the country.

Landbank was among the eight government agencies and units awarded in this year’s OpenGov Recognition of Excellence (RoE) for “striving towards excellence in ICT strategies, policies and initiatives”.

Landbank is the only bank present in all of the country’s 81 provinces with its nationwide network of 380 branches and extension offices, complemented by 1,806 ATMs as of end-February.
