Bataan board member, actor nabbed for estafa

BALANGA CITY – Combined forces of Balanga City Police and Bataan 1st Provincial Mobile Force arrested on Monday afternoon a member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (provincial board) in his rented apartment in Batangay San Jose, this city.

Police report said Board Member Dexter B. Dominguez, 44, more popularly known in the Philippine entertainment industry as “Teri Onor” was arrested for alleged violation of Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act and charges for estafa case.

Judge Angelito Balderama of Bataan Regional Trial Court Branch 1 issued the warrant of arrest on July 5, 2018 yet but it was implemented only on October 22. The police failed to cite reason for the delay.

Dominguez who is now in his last term as member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan was reported planning to run for vice mayor of Abucay town where he resides. He did not file any certificate of candidacy according to Comelec.

Police said Dominguez’ colleagues at the provincial board are raising P70,000, the bail bond recommended by Judge Balderama.
