A devastating incident unfolded on the National Road in Barangay Mabatang, Abucay, Bataan around 4 p.m. Friday.
According to reports from the Abucay Police, a minor lost his life after being struck by an Isuzu wing van.
The victim has been identified as Cian Daniel Buensuceso, a young resident of Barangay Mulawin, Orani, Bataan.
Meanwhile, the suspect behind the wheel is Rommel Bartolome, a 52-year-old driver residing in Barangay Liyang, Pilar, Bataan.
Initial investigations by the police reveal that while three minors were riding their bicycles, accompanied by Cian, on their journey from north to south in Orani, Bataan, they were suddenly hit by the Isuzu truck. Tragically, this collision resulted in the immediate loss of Cian’s life.
Both the driver and the vehicles involved have been taken into custody at the local police station for appropriate action.
