CLARK FREEPORT — A member of a prominent family expressed fear for his life after he survived from a sniper bullets in separate ocassions, the latest was on Feb 29, in his residence at Saint Catherine Compound, Barangay Pandan, Angeles City as he offered P3-million cash reward for any information leading to the arrest of suspects including the brain.
Jeffrey S. Dizon, 48, a real state developer and a director of a family-run businesses, said somebody masterminded the assassination plot and that i do not know who wanted me to be eliminated.
“I do not know who is trying to kill me and i do not have enemies,” said Dizon adding that he survived because of divine intervention. “Milagro lang kaya hindi ako tinamaan [Its a miracle I survived slay try.]
Dizon said policemen led by Police Executive Master Sergeant Edgar Avilon and a certain Lieutenant Canlas and Staf Sergeant Arvie Mateo conducted ocular inspection and found four bullet holes.
“The punctures holes left on the wall are parallel to my chest that made me conclude the bullets are intended for me,” Dizon pointed out adding that the sniper may have difficulties in hitting me due to the fact that I was moving around.
Dizon said he went outside of the office while on a meeting after his phone rang. He was moving around to get a clear signal of his phone when gunshot rang past 6 p.m.
“I just ignored it thinking of firecracker explosion. But when I cheked the following day, I found holes on the right and front section of the concrete walls of my house.” Dizon told reporters while pointing the punctured wall.
Dizon said the bullets may have been fired from an elevated areas adjacent to his house where his mother and siblings resides.
“I am not accusing anyone, and we do not have any suspect at the moment. I am just stating the fact and event that transpired.” Dizon stressed.
Police Colonel Joyce Patrick Sangalang, director of the Angeles City Police Office (ACPO), when reached for comment, said he called Dizon and suggested that scientific investigation be made by sending scene of the crime operatives.
