Bomb scare suspends classes and offices in Zambales, Olongapo and Bataan

Olongapo City– At exactly 2:00 in the afternoon when the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) declared that their employees would be sent home due to the bomb scare.

Also in Olongapo City, Mayor Rolen C. Paulino Jr. suspended classes in both public and private and work in government offices schools this afternoon February 12 due to unverified bomb threat.  

On his facebook account Mayor Paulino states:

“Meron pong kumakalat ngayon na bomb threat na ang target daw ay mga government offices. Malamang ay hoax po ito at di kailangan mag-alala. Pero para makasigurado at maging maingat na maingat: ang mga government offices po kasama ang mga schools ay suspendido na po ngayong hapon. Kasama na po ang private schools para mapanatag po ang isip ng lahat.

Again: Operations of government offices except for essential emergency services and classes of all levels (both public and private) are suspended.

Mag-ingat po ang lahat. Mag-iikot na po ang PNP para magcheck po ng mga government offices.

God bless po sa lahat. God bless Olongapo.“

The bomb threat originated from the spread on social media of a certain Takahiro Karasawa a Japanese Lawyer who planted a bomb in some public offices and it will address to Department of Education office in Bataan that will explode at approximately 3:34 pm on February 12.
