Capas Mayor Reynaldo Catacutan has ordered the ban of jeepneys and tricycles in this town starting 8p.m. today until further notice.
This in accordance with the declaration of state of calamity in the entire country.
Catacutan assured his people that necessities will remain available. Public market, grocery stores and other establishments offering basic services will be open. The public can walk, use their private cars or approach the barangay officials for the use of barangay service vehicles.
“Lahat ng nagsasamantala sa presyo ipapasara ko, lahat ng drayber na papasada, poposasan ng ating mga kapulisan,” he warned.
“Pasensya na po kayo at kailangan nating sumunod,” Catacutan added.
