ANGELES CITY – A 31-year old Filipino male from Negros Oriental who was reported positive for the COVID-19 disease last March 9 had fully recovered and will be released today.
The Department of Health (DOH) identified the patient as PH25, one of the two repatriates from the Diamond Princess cruise ship.
PH25 will be discharged today from the Jose B. Lingad Memorial Regional Hospital in the City of San Fernando in Pampanga province after he tested negative twice for COVID-19.
As of 12nn today, March 17, the DOH reported 45 new cases of COVID-19 infection (PH143 – PH187) bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 187.
Four patients (PH1, PH3, PH14 and PH25) have already recovered.
