CDC’s IQA team commended for efforts on ISO 9001:2008 certification audit

CLARK FREEPORT — Members of Clark Development Corporation’s (CDC) International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Internal Quality Audit (IQA) team were recognized in helping ensure maintenance of quality systems in the state-owned firm.

CDC Vice President for Legal Affairs Atty. Perlita Sagmit, awarded certificate of commendation to the members for their support and effort in making the state-owned firm pass the ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management Certification Audit. Sagmit is also the designated compliance officer of CDC.

Sagmit also thanked all CDC employees for their cooperation throughout the process.

The team is composed of Maria Jennifer Tayag, Belle Aslarona, Alicia Salas, Liza Montallana, Eliza Santos, Kristine Pattaui, Francis Hernandez, Mary Janet Castro, Rogelio Magat, Rosalie Ocampo, Bernardino Henson, Rosanna Manalili, Ador Bognot, Rose Mandap, Robin Cenzon, Walter San Diego, Wyda Cosme, Mylene Paraan and CDC Corporate Planning Division Manager Tarcisius Tiotuyco. The team have worked for 3 years in the planning, preparation, execution, follow-up and assessment of requirements to make sure that the ISO standards process are met by CDC.

Through the second surveillance audit on quality management system in compliance with the ISO 9001: 2008, CDC was issued recertification on the Provision of Business Development, Business Enhancement and Zone Management Services.

ISO 9001:2008 is a globally recognized standard on quality management which acknowledges organization who were able to provide effective customer and regulatory services, following a quality management system.
