CLARK FREEPORT — The Clark Development Corporation (CDC) recently launched the Clark Job Matching Portal (CJMP) for job seekers.
Applicants will now have a more convenient way to apply for jobs among the locators inside the Clark Freeport.
The CJMP approved by Clark Development Corporation (CDC) President and CEO Noel F. Manankil was launched recently at Widus Hotel. The event was attended by representatives from 223 locator-firms.
The applicants once registered will automatically match their qualifications vis a vis the actual workers needed by the various companies inside Clark.
During the launching CDC’s job portal, the state-run firm also recognized the Clark Human Resource Council (CHRC), composed of 75 major companies and CDC’s partners for employment.
Complementing CDC’s move towards a paperless processing system, the project provides job-matching services as well as to collect employment reports from the employers in Clark.
Vonn Angelie C. David, president of CHRC, said CJMP serves as a convenient and fastest platform where employers can post job requirements and job seekers can directly apply for their desired jobs. He also encouraged other companies to join their group.
“This project allows us more flexibility to access available applications, available profiles of applicants without really having to go out of our offices,” said David who is also the also the Human Resource operations manager of Luen Thai International Group Phils., Inc.
CHRC is a brainchild of CDC and eventually developed its own independence and currently registered at the Securities and Exchange Commission.
CJMP will be replacing the traditional method of recruitment were applicants would flock to the Placement Division of CDC to submit their resume while employers scan the piles of resume to look for qualified applicants.
Workers in various industries in this Freeport have reached over 101,000 in the first two months of 2017, posting an all time high since the inception of CDC in 1993.
