Angeles City Mayor Ed Pamintuan holds a breakfast forum and prescon at the Angeles City Pampang Public Market to update the public on the issues regarding the avian flu virus and its effects on the poultry industry.
Pamintuan allayed the fears of the public assuring the consumers that the chicken being sold at the Pampang Public Market is safe for human consumption. However, he enjoined everyone to remain vigilant.
To show their poultry products are safe from bird flu, Pamintuan along with the LGU officials and Market Associations shared breakfast meal or boodle fight of Lelut Manuk (Chicken Rice Porridge), Adobung Manok (Marinated Chicken) and fried chicken at Pampang Public Market. –JP Manalang
