New Malolos police recruits deployed as ‘Unibelt cops’

CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan –City Mayor Christian D. Natividad and city police chief Supt. Heryl Bruno have deployed 48 additional policemen, who were part of the batch of fresh police recruits that the Regional Police Office-3 has sent to Bulacan for trainings, along the city’s university belt area.

Natividad and Bruno welcomed the new police recruits with the ranks of Police Officer 1 at the newly-constructed city police headquarters in Bgy. Bulihan here Friday afternoon.

“You will now begin to serve your country and become an integral part in the city’s maintenance of peace and order. Help us make this city a very peaceful metropolis,| Natividad told the new police recruits.

Natividad said that the City of Malolos is the capital city of the province of Bulacan where vital government agencies are house including the provincial capitol.
“The population of Malolos is now more than 250,000. Let’s give our best to them as we all per5form our duties as public servants, “ the young top city executive said.

He added that big universities and college with hundreds of thousands of students are studying.

Natividad also briefed the new police recruits about the booming city and the various socio-economic programs now in high gears.

He said that at night there are hundreds of thousands of people in Malolos. By day it could reach as high as half a million people doing business in the city.

“Malolos is very busy and very busier in the coming days. The additional policemen will increase visibility of peace-keeping forces and will have positive effects in the maintenance of peace and order,| Natividad said. — EMIL G. GAMOS
