Chinese national kidnap victim rescued

Bulacan — A 33 year-old Chinese National who was an alleged kidnap victim was rescued by personnel of Bustos Municipal Police Station (MPS) after he was abandoned by his abductors in Barangay Talampas in Bustos town on Wednesday dawn.

Bulacan Police Provincial Director Senior Supt. Chito Bersaluna identified the rescued victim as Lou Hao, a resident of Legazpi Tower Pasay City.

Initial investigation showed that the victim was abducted by four unidentified male Chinese National suspects outside the Solaire Resort & Casino in Pasay City, Manila and was in captivity since November 4, 2018.

According to the victim, the suspects were demanding money worth of one hundred thousand Chinese Dollar in exchange of his liberty.

However, the victim was not able to comply to the suspects’ demand, so he was forced into an unidentified vehicle and was dumped alone in the said barangay with abrasions in different parts of his body.

Bersaluna said, barangay officials in the said village reported the incident to the Bustos Police who promptly responded and rescued the victim.

The victim was brought to Castro Maternity General Hospital, Baliwag, Bulacan for medical treatment.

Bersaluna said that they have already coordinated the incident to Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG) NHQ, Camp Crame Quezon City and turned-over the victim.
