CL Police establishes quarantine control points in all expressway exits

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga– Police Regional Office 3 (PRO 3) has established quarantine control points (QCP) in all exits of the Central Luzon portion of North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway and Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway.

Police Regional Director PBGen. Valeriano De Leon said this is meant to ensure that relevant provisions of Resolution No.104 of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases are being enforced.

That particular resolution placed the provinces of Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, and Laguna and the National Capital Region under a General Community Quarantine bubble from March 22 until April 4.

PRO 3 earlier established 10 QCP alongthe boundaries of Bulacan namely in Doña Remedios Trinidad Highway, Brgy. Bulualto in San Miguel, Bulacan- Gapan City, Nueva Ecija; Brgy. San Roque Road in Baliuag, Bulacan-Candaba, Pampanga; Mac Arthur Highway in brgy. Gatbuca in Calumpit, Bulacan-Apalit, Pampanga; and brgy. San Pascual in Hagonoy, Bulacan- brgy. Sapang Kawayan in Masantol, Pampanga.

Also in the Southbound exits of NLEX in Pulilan, Sta. Rita, Bocaue, Philippine Arena, Meycauayan and Marilao.

De Leon reminded the public that mobility within Bulacan remains unrestricted, but only authorized persons may travel in and out of the province until April 4. 

“I am also reminding everyone to strictly adhere and diligently follow health protocols. Staying at home is still the best way to fight COVID-19,” he added.
