CLTV36 marks 10 years of public service

CLTV36, Metro Central Luzon’s multi-awarded regional television station, marks ten long years of serving the public with balanced and hyperlocal news and infotainment programs since its launching in 2007.

CLTV36, a subsidiary of the Laus Group of Companies, was also a consistent recipient of KPB Golden Dove award for Best TV Station from 2012 to 2014 and an awardee at Holy Angel University’s Paragala Awards 2017.

“Hindi madali ang pagsustain sa isang regional tv station channel. Para kaming lumangoy sa dagat na puno ng pating pero dahil determinado tayo na suungin ang lahat ng pagsubok we are now on our 10th anniversary na Bayan ang Inuuna” General Manager Sonia Soto said during the press conference held on Tuesday at Brick Cafe, Sindalan, City of San Fernando.

According to Nielsen, CLTV36 ranked 12 in nationwide audience reach and ranked 19 in terms of ratings.

CLTV36 is broadcasting over Pampanga, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Pangasinan, Rizal, Cavite and Metro Manila and is with a total of 2,748,871 viewership nationwide making it the best and most viewed regional tv station in the Philippines based on Nielsen statistics.

“We do not measure all stations. When we measured CLTV36 it means na pumasa sila sa standards ng Nielsen. There is something good with this station na nagawa niyang i-tap ang most difficult to please na target market which are the millennials,” Nielsen Media Executive Director Tin Amper said.

In celebration of ten long years of public service, Jay-Ar Hipolito, anniversary program focal person, revealed the line-up of charity events slated on March 31.

From 10:00 a.m. onwards is the OK si Dok and Lingap CL Screening, Usapang Biz-ness Trade Fair, Job Fair, Kiddie Party for the Lingap CL beneficiaries, Sine Gitnang Luzon Originals Free Viewing and CLTV36 Music Zone Festival to be staged at Robinsons Starmills, CSFP.

Joining Soto in the press conference are San Miguel Brewery Business Affairs and Communication Unit Officer Francis Sison, HAU AB Communication and Department of Languages Program Chairperson Leslie Manalo and CLTV36 Deputy General Manager Billy San Juan.
