CMH holds fire emergency and evacuation drill

Almost a hundred associates and guests participated in Clark Marriott Hotel’s first Fire Emergency and Evacuation Drill held last July 8.

In partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection and CDC Public Safety Department, the hotel’s Emergency Response Team headed by its Loss Prevention manager, Mr. Ronnie Manalastas, led the guests and associates to the designated evacuation area near St. Joseph The Worker Chapel.

Prior to evacuation, the alarm system was triggered and lifts were all recalled to the ground level as a standard safety and security procedure of the hotel.

The simulation, that is in observance of the National Disaster Resiliency Month, is aimed at keeping associates and guests alike informed in case of an emergency which may prevent loss of lives or injuries.
