Attending to the consular needs of our kababayans is an important function of Philippine foreign service posts. Shortly after the explosions and gunfire in the Iraqi capital this morning, the Philippine Embassy in Baghdad proceeded to the Green Zone for a consular outreach mission for Filipinos working there.
