To further promote good nutrition to infants, the City Government of San Fernando through its City Health Office, joins “The Big Latch On Pampanga 2017”, a global simultaneous breastfeeding event held August 4 at the Robinsons Starmills Pampanga.
More than 100 breastfeeding mothers participated. Women’s Health Program Manager, Dr. Elma Manarang, said the aim of this activity is to encourage all the mothers and soon to be mothers to breastfeed their babies. Part of the event is the discussion of the significance and benefits of breastfeeding.
Meanwhile, a trade fair dubbed “Mompreneur Fair” was held also during the big latch on. This is to support the mom entrepreneurs who sell their businesses through online.
