Dela Llana’s Flower Farm Blossoms into Emerging Arts and Tourism Hub in Zambales

CASTILLEJOS, Zambales — What started as a five-hectare flower farm is now growing into a vibrant venue for arts, music, and community gatherings as Dela Llana’s Flower Farm successfully staged its first-ever music festival on Father’s Day.

Hundreds of visitors flocked to the picturesque farm in Barangay San Agustin to witness an evening of live performances, workshops, games, and community activities that showcased the area’s potential as a cultural and tourism destination.

Farm owner Amethia Dela Llana said the event was inspired by her desire to honor her father and grandfather while creating a space where people can gather, celebrate, and enjoy local talent.

“The primary event is the Father’s Day Music Festival. It is to give joy to the fathers and to honor my grandfather, Precioso Dela Llana, and my father, Gualberto Dela Llana, who helped make this place what it is today,” she said.

Since opening in 2019, the flower farm has gradually become a popular attraction in Castillejos, drawing visitors through its colorful landscapes and nature-inspired ambiance. The successful staging of a music festival marks a new chapter in the property’s development as a venue for creative and cultural events.

Headlining the event were alternative music acts Guddhi$t and Slowdough, joined by local bands Banda ni Bathala, Owl’s Night, and Trippy Sunday, whose performances energized the crowd throughout the evening.

Beyond entertainment, the festival also featured music workshops, raffles, and community activities, with part of the proceeds allocated to charitable causes.

Local tourism stakeholders welcomed the initiative, noting that events like these help diversify tourism offerings in Zambales by combining nature, arts, and community engagement.

With the strong turnout and positive reception from attendees, organizers are looking at holding more cultural events in the future, positioning Dela Llana’s Flower Farm as one of the emerging creative spaces in the province.
