ANGELES CITY – A group of dog lovers recently held a dog show, titled “Paws for a Cause” on March 17, 2019 at the Nepo Park here.
The event was initiated by Maligator Angeles Pampanga in cooperation with “Team Let it Be for Mayor Bryan Nepomuceno”.
Maligator Angeles Pampanga is a group that consists of dog lovers around Pampanga that holds events at least five times a year. Since 2017, it has united dog lovers and owners from the province through their activities.
Neon Ocampo, founder of the group, says donations will be given to help abandoned and rescued dogs at the local pound.
Prizes to be given are trophies for different categories, dog medications, dog food and treats. The next dog show event will be held on the month of December
According to Roland De Guzman a Belgian Tervuren owner, he always participates in these activities to enjoy.
Jm Baditu, an American Bully owner, stated that he joined the contest for the first time, and will definitely be joining again. –Sally Louise A. Lloren/ AUF Intern
