DPWH completes brgy extension office, day care center in Moncada

Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed a two-storey multipurpose building at barangay Villa in Moncada, Tarlac.

The 138-square meter space is currently being used both as a day care center and a barangay extension office.

DPWH Tarlac 1st District Engineer Neil Farala said the P5.86-million facility underscores the agency’s dedication in prioritizing youth welfare and local development through the construction of essential community amenities.

“This building ensures that the children in barangay Villa have a better space equipped with facilities that offer them the best learning experience,” Farala emphasized.

For his part, Barangay Captain Jun Agapay expressed his excitement over the infrastructure’s completion.

Very presentable at maganda,” Agapay stated.

The project was implemented under the agency’s Basic Infrastructure Program funded through the 2023 General Appropriations Act. (MJSC/CLJD-PIA 3)
