TARLAC CITY — President Rodrigo R. Duterte inspected Wednesday the ongoing construction of the five-storey, 300 bed capacity Out-Patient Department (OPD) Building of the Tarlac Provincial Hospital (TPH).
“Project cost is Php550 million wherein Php300 million was sourced from the Department of Health’s Health Facilities Enhancement Program while the provincial government of Tarlac provided a counterpart of Php250 million,” TPH Chief of Hospital Garry Role said.
The Ground Floor has a total area of 3,505.67 square meters and will house the Social Service, Business Center, Pharmacy, Rehabilitation Facility, Department of Orthopedic, Radiology Department, Diagnostics, ENT, and Eye Center.
Moreover, the Second Floor has a total area of 3,236.13 square meters and will be occupied by the Consultation/Observation Room, Executive Offices/Nursing Services, Department of Pediatrics, Department of OB-GYN, Pain Management Unit, Dialysis/Kidney Center, Department of Surgery, and Department of Internal Medicine.
“The third to fifth floors will be used as rooms for patients requiring medical care that are treatable in a hospital,” Role added. (CLJD/CJFV-PIA 3)
