FCC in South Carolina

The Filipino Community Center (FCC) of Charleston, South Carolina is now open for membership. The FCC said the organization seeks to serve as the meeting place for the Filipino community; cooperate with other civic bodies in advancing the welfare of the community; and provide leisure time activities, informal education and recreation aimed at preserving the Filipino way of life and at the same time become responsible citizens of the United States. The FCC officers are as follows: James Camus, president; Orly Maningding, 1st vice president; Sally Ani, 2nd vice president; Nancy Samson, secretary; Jocelyn Aluague, financial secretary; Nita Maravilla, treasurer; Ernie Torres, auditor; Janet Muchuelas, PRO. The FCC Board of Directors are as follows: Lorenzo Acala, Merly Bangcuyo, Joey Caseja, Gondi Cherba, Chester Felix, Linda Lagasca, Rey De Leon, Carmen Malamug, Nelson Saqui, Tony Tolentino, Elaine Torres and Roger Viduya. The FCC Youth Directors are Dr. Sherry Viduya and Rolando Morales. Immediate past presidents are Johnny Aldea and Lily Cabading. –Jonard Aquino
