Thousands of Bulacan residents recently benefitted from a four-day medical and surgical mission by the Philippine Medical Association-Medical Mission Foundation of Greater St. Louis.
About 55 Filipino-American doctors and nurses participated in the activity which was done in partnership with the provincial government.
Among the services given include consultations and check-ups; dental and ophthalmology services; minor operation on cysts; and major operations on goiter, gall bladder, hernia and myoma.
“The province is more than grateful to the association of doctors for extending their helpful hand to the less fortunate Bulakenyos for five consecutive years now,” Governor Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado said.
