Fritzie, Lubao mayor, Torres unopposed for BM posts

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Olga Frances “Fritzie” David-Dizon , president of Philippine Councilors’ League (PCL) Pampanga chapter, is unopposed
for a Second District board member seat.

Dizon and her two running-mates – Lubao Mayor Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab and Board Member Tonton Torres – are assured of the Provincial Board (PB) posts after no other candidates challenged them.

“I want to thank our constituents for allowing us to serve them. I vow to continue providing high quality services,” said Dizon. She thanked Gov. Lilia Pineda and Vice Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda for being “role models” when it comes to public service.

They are under the political party Kapanalig and Kambilan ning Memalen Pampanga (Kambilan) headed by the Pinedas.

Dizon became a board member in 2011 after her mother, former Second District Board Member Edna David, died in November 2010. Her father was former Porac Mayor Roy David.

Dizon did not seek a post in 2013 to concentrate on her family. She became the chief-of-staff of Gov. Pineda from 2013 to 2016.

Dizon won as Porac councilor in 2016 and then she became PCL President.

Edna David was appointed acting governor after then Gov. Manuel “Lito” Lapid was suspended due to the alleged quarry scam.

Dizon’s brother, Porac Vice Mayor Dexter David, is running for mayor of their hometown.
