Hermosa Mayor distributes livelihood funds, food carts

HERMOSA, Bataan — The municipal government of this first-class municipality led by Mayor Antonio Joseph “Jopet” Inton recently led the distribution of funds and mobile food carts to forty beneficiaries here.

Mayor Inton said the beneficiaries are from the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) list of 4Ps (Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program) and Kalipunan ng Liping Pilipina (KALIPI) members.


The funds worth P800,000 (P20 thousand per beneficiary) came from the regional office of DSWD. It is payable within 1 year and each of them are tasked to pay it for P165 per week.

DSWD in collaboration with Bataan Peninsula State University also awarded Certifications of Training for completing the 24-hour-livelihood training on meat, fish & delicacies processing, food safety & entrepreneurship leading to ambulant vending with mobile food cart.
