Hyundai Angeles opens

Angeles City — Hyundai, the No. 1 Korean automotive brand in the Philippines, has opened its second full-service passenger car (PC) dealership here on Thursday.

Hyundai Angeles is the 2nd Hyundai PC dealership in Pampanga and the 3rd in Central Luzon operated by the Hizon Group. The Hizon Group counts among the first four pioneer Hyundai dealers in the Philippines.

Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) President and CEO Ma. Fe Perez Agudo said, “We start the year and the new decade strong by proudly hoisting the Hyundai flag in the progressive cities of the country like Angeles City, fortifying our growing Hyundai dealership network. This inauguration highlights our desire to reach out to more customers, provide them with better automotive products, better after-sales services, and ultimately, better journeys.”

Being home of the Clark International Airport and former US military-operated Clark Air Base, Angeles City was heavily affected by the eruption of Mount Pinatubo in 1991.

Three years after, the city recovered due to the creation of the Clark Special Economic Zone (CSEZ). Angeles City transformed into a 1st class highly urbanized city which made it the commercial, financial, and industrial hub of the province of Pampanga, as well as the entertainment and gaming center of Central Luzon.

According to the 2019 Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI) released by the National Competitiveness Council (NCC), Angeles City ranks 2nd in the Most Improved Rankings for Highly Urbanized Cities category. The city also received its Seal of Good Local Governance from the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) last 2016.

Hyundai Angeles complies with Global Dealership Space Identity (GDSI) standards, the modern design philosophy of Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) that mirrors and complements its top-performing vehicles, such as the Reina, Accent, Kona, Tucson, Grand Starex, and Santa Fe.

The company hinted that Hyundai Angeles and more soon-to-open dealerships will also house new and innovative vehicles slated for 2020.  Residents and businesses in Central Luzon can expect excellence in mobility, service, and worry-free ownership, thanks to the highly trained, certified, and dedicated dealer personnel of Hyundai Angeles.

The newly-launched dealership is built to respond to consumers’ demand that global firms engaged in important social issues, like sustainability and environment protection. This state-of-the-art facility employs sustainable materials and practices, such as natural lighting and ventilation, to minimize its carbon footprints.

Hyundai Angeles is part of HARI’s aggressive PC and Commercial Vehicle (CV) network expansion to cater to the country’s high growth corridors. Last 2019, HARI sold 33,763 units (full-year figures) and generated 2.9% growth in December versus the same month in 2018, enabling it to maintain its position in the market as one of the top automotive brands in the Philippine market.

“The new Hyundai dealership in Angeles is aligned with Hyundai’s grand vision for 2020 and beyond. We strive to bring relevant innovation to take the mobility experience to the next level. Beyond profit, we are strongly committed to our customers, our nation, and our planet.” Ms. Agudo affirmed.

Customers can visit Hyundai Angeles along McArthur Highway, Balibago, Angeles City.

Meanwhile, Hyundai is slated to introduce another new dealership in Baguio City to further strengthen its presence in the northern regions of Luzon.
