Young Kapampangan chef Vince Garcia on Thursday donated more than 200 hearty meals to the frontliners of varied medical institutions in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
With his team, Garcia personally delivered the food packs to Leonardo B. Manabat Sr. Hospital, Inc., Jose B. Lingad Memorial Hospital, GreenCity Medical Center, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Medical Center and Mother Teresa of Calcutta Medical Center.
“This is the least that I can do to give back to the community. This is also my way of thanking them kasi they are risking their lives to flatten the curve. It is our simple way of reminding them that we appreciate them at this time of crisis,” Garcia said in the phone interview.
Garcia who owns the Rainforest Kichene and En Croute Café is the president of Chef Vince Garcia Culinary Group. He is an active member of Culinaria Pampanga, the official catering team in the recently held SEA GAMES 2019.
