Kapampangan wins in Taiwan hair and make-up competition

With 18 years of expertise in hair and makeup styling, it’s no surprise after multi-awarded Kapampangan beauty guru Enji Robles Dobluis bagged the grand prize in the recent 17th Taiwan Olympic Hair and Makeup Competition held in Taipei, Taiwan, May 28 to 29.

Dobluis amused 16 other competing Asian countries with his intricate exposition of authentic and modern Filipina bride through another Kapampangan model Ana Denise Rivera.

“With my hopes of bringing honor to our country, God gave me more than what I wished for. The competition taught me not just merely winning but the opportunity to learn with the most skillful and talented artists around the world, ” Dobluis posted in his social media account.

“I would like to personally thank Mother Ricky Reyes sa pagturo ng make-up at hairstyle, Stefhanie Ilagan sa pagturo sa model ko at collaboration natin na pasabog na digmaan, RJ Ryan sa flowers at walang sawang support, La Hermosa Flower Shop sa flower arrangement, Tey Bondoc sa pasabog na maleta, Alda Cirineo Tumang sa pag-endorse ng model, Camille Caladiao for my skincare, Louie Quiazon for make-up, Irene B. Madlambayan Mungcal for thee non-stop support, Mark Santos sa bonggang back dress and Aries Garcia Eusebio sa Philippine Flag, ” he added.

In 2006 and 2007, he was also a back-to back champion in the Wella Trend Vision competition held in Italy and Spain.

On June 1, he is set for another ‘Battle of the Masters’ in the philbeauty competition at SMX Convention Centre, SM Mall of Asia, Manila.

Dobluis noted on love and dedication to work, and gratitude to mentors as his main recipe for success. –Photos grabbed from Enji Robles Dobluis Facebook account.
