Mabalaqueños hailed as Ginoo at Binibining Republica de Filipinas 2017

Mabalacat natives David Porcel and Marie Joyce Marfori have conquered Malolos City after being crowned as Ginoo at Binibining Republica de Filipinas 2017 and Best in Costume during the coronation night on Saturday at Malolos Sports and Convention Center in Bulacan.

Ginoo at Binibining Republica de Filipinas, a national pageant, is in celebration of the Fiesta Republica in the renaissance city of Malolos.


Marfori, 20, from Barangay Dolores is taking up Bachelor of Science in Business Economics at the University of the Philippines at Diliman, Quezon City. She represented the city in Mutya ng Pilipinas 2016 and is Miss Mabalacat City 2016-1st princess and Miss Silka Pampanga 2016 2nd runner up.

“The competition was really tough as the 17 other candidates are really experienced when it comes to pageantry,” the beauty queen said.

Likewise, Parcel, 19, from Barangay Mabiga is a nursing student at Angeles University Foundation in Angeles City. He holds the titles Mr. Mabiga 2015 and Mr. Mabalacat 2016 1st runner up.

“All I did was give my best and I think God did the rest. Masaya po ako na nakapagbigay kami ng karangalan sa Mabalacat,” the young gent added.
