MAGALANG, Pampanga – The municipal government headed by Mayor Maria Lourdes “Malu” Lacson has lined up various activities for the celebration of its fiesta.
On August 21, there will be a ‘pulaying camaru’ or color run. Assembly time is at 4:00 a.m. at the municipal grounds. On the same day there will be an Institutional Float and Multi-sectoral parades.
On August 22, there will be a ‘Calutong Camaru” or Inter Barangay Cooking Competition starting at 9:00 a.m. It will be held at the Magalang town plaza. Then on the same day at 10:00 a.m. there will be a ‘Dutdutan Camaru’ or Tattoo Competition at the Bren Z Guiao Memorial Sports Center. At 5:00 p.m., there will be a ‘Camaru Got Talent’ or Talent Competition to held at the town plaza.
On August 23, there will be an Inter-School Street Dancing Competition with actor TJ Marquez. It will be held at 3:00 pm and assembly is at the Magalang Memorial Park. At 5:00 p.m. on the same day, there will an Inter-School Free Dance Interpretation.
On August 24 at 7:00 a.m., it will be the opening of the 2nd Mayor’s Cup Inter-Barangay Basketball Tournament. It will be held at the Bren Z Guiao Memorial Sports Center. At 5:00 p.m. on the same day, the TM RepubliKaravan night featuring Aegis and Chocolate Factory. It will be held at the Magalang town plaza.
