BALANGA CITY— Reelected Hermosa Mayor Jopet R. Inton took his oath of office on Thursday morning.
Mayor Inton, Vice Mayor-elect Eigie Malana as well as 10 councilors-elect, took their oath before Bataan Governor Abet Garcia at the grand ballroom of Louis Resort.
Mayor Jopet’s better half, CIAC Director and lawyer, Atty Anne Adorable-Inton, together with other Lipad Hermosa Team’s loved ones and relatives were around to witness the mayor’s oath-taking for their renewed mandate to Hermoseños.
“The election is over. Now is the time to work and fulfill what we have promised to our people during the campaign period,” Governor Garcia said in his speech.
Meanwhile, Mayor Jopet vowed to do “finishing touches” on all development projects implemented since 2016 when he was first elected as Hermosa’s chief executive.
Mayor Inton’s vision for Hermosa is geared towards more investment projects that would emerge to strengthen the connectivity between the Municipality of Hermosa, Bataan and its potential partners creating immense business opportunities.
