The Mabalacat City College Institute of Arts and Sciences (MCC-IAS) represented by its Dean Raymond Vergara has entered into memorandum of agreement (MOA) with Philippine Normal University as hosts for the Global Citizenship Education set on May 23-25, 2019.

Vergara said GCED is a strategic area of UNESCO’s Education Sector Program that aims to prepare teachers to transform schools into globalized communities.

He also added that this is in preparation for the booming of Clark as this will be a cosmopolitan area of varied people and culture.

With Vergara in the MOA signing are MCC President Dr. Carmelita P. Sotto and PNU Vice President for Administration and Finance Dr. Bert Tuga.

The two-day workshop is funded by UNESCO Bangkok and UNESCO Philippine National Commission.
