Some 60 men ages 40 years and above availed of the free prostate screening and consultation at The Medical City Clark, on Saturday.
This is in partnership of the TMCC with the Philippine Urological Association in celebration of Prostate Health Awareness Month this June.
Urologist Dr. Paul Espina said Prostate Cancer is the leading cause of death among older men but is treatable if diagnosed at an early stage.
“Ineencourage ko po kayong mga kalalakihan edad 40 pataas na magpa-DRE o yung Digital Rectal Examination. Digital po sa pandinig pero ito ay ginagawa sa pamamagitan ng pagsuot ng hintuturo sa butas ng puwet para malaman ang kondisyon ng inyong prostate,” Espina added.
