Mentoring program opens in Nueva Ecija

Twenty micro entrepreneurs from the province of Nueva Ecija were selected to attend the second batch of participants to the Kapatid Mentor Micro Enterprises (KMME) program of the Department of Trade and Industry. The KMME program was launched on March 7, 2018 at the Alessandra Banquet Hall in Cabanatuan City.

Regional Director Judith P. Angeles of DTI-3 graced the occasion and stressed the importance of scaling up the capacity of micro-entrepreneurs who make up the bulk of establishments in the country. Provincial Director Brigida Pili reminded the selected participants to attend all the sessions of the KMME as this is their commitment and that the value of the program is significant. Dr. Reynato Arimbuyutan, Chairman of the Micro Small and Medium Development Council of Nueva Ecija expressed his optimism for the KMME program as this would redound to the benefit of the local economy. A one-on-one business counseling session followed the presentation of the topics by the speakers.
